These FAQs pertain to UNCG Camps and Clinics Only.
Q: HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE CAMP?
A. You can sign up and pay online for UNCG camps and clinics. You can also download and print the registration and release forms (click here) and mail them to the address on the forms. To register for camps at Greensboro Day School, please click here.
Q: WHEN DOES CAMP REGISTRATION CLOSE?
A. Online registration will close at 8:00 pm the evening prior to the start of the respective camp. However, walk-up registrations are accepted during check-in on the first day of camp.
Q: DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-UP REGISTRATIONS FOR CAMP? A. Yes. We do accept walk-up registrations for any camp. However, we encourage all participants to register in advance.
Q. Does your camp offer aftercare?
A. Yes, we offer aftercare until 5:30pm for an additional $10/day or $40/week. Otherwise, pick-up is promptly at 4pm. Pick-up from aftercare will be in Fleming Gym in the Coleman Building (where camp is held). You can park in the lot across the street (where morning drop-off occurs).
Q: WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?
A. Campers should bring the appropriate equipment items (basketball shoes, shorts), drink/snack if preferred, and/or money for the camp store if desired.
Q: WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP?
A. Check-in begins at 8:15 am each morning for day camp, 9:15am for the post clinics, and 12:15pm for the Skills & Drills clinics unless otherwise stated.
Q: WILL I NEED ANY SPENDING MONEY?
A. Lunch is provided for full day camps and is included in the registration cost. Snacks and drinks can also be purchased from the Camp Store. Campers can bring cash to use at the store or put money in the camp bank to have a daily allowance to use at the Camp Store. If you choose to use the Camp Bank, we will keep track of your child’s money, so they do not have to hold on to it throughout camp. At the end of the week, if there is money left over, you or your camper can collect the remaining balance from the Camp Store.
Q: ARE MEALS PROVIDED?
A. Lunch is the only meal provided for Day Camps. There will be no lunch provided for clinics.

A. Yes. The following forms are required for participation in camp. The forms must be filled out in their entirety with the proper signatures.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT BRING THE PARENTAL RELEASE AND HEALTH FORMS?
A. If registering online, these forms will be completed during the registration process. If you mail in your registration, these forms must be mailed with the registration form or brought to check-in. If you forget these forms, or they are not filled out completely, your child will not be allowed to participate in camp. If you do forget to submit the forms ahead of time, there will be blank forms at check-in that you can complete however this may delay the check-in process.
Q: I SUBMITTED A PARENTAL RELEASE/HEALTH FORM FOR A CAMP EARLIER IN THE SUMMER, DO I NEED TO COMPLETE ANOTHER ONE FOR A SESSION LATER IN THE SUMMER?
